Leather Market Harborough (also known as German martingale or Thiedemann reins) with an adjustable neck strap. Attaches to the girth by means of an adjustable girth loop with detachable carabiner. The narrow straps of the running martingale are adjustable as well and fitted with snap hooks. The rubber rein (21 mm wide) has leather ends (15 mm wide) with buckles. The rein has three D-rings stitched on both sides: two on the leather ends and one on the rubber part. The narrow martingale straps are passed through the bit rings and attached to the D-rings of the rein by means of carabiners. The Market Harborough features shiny, silver-coloured fittings made of chrome-plated brass. This training aid prevents the horse from extending its head too far upwards or ahead when riding.
